Bishop Visit on March 1st

Bishop Hee-Soo Jung will be joining us on Sunday, March 1st during the 9 & 11 AM services. He will preach on Luke 7:36-50 and spend time with us during Fellowship Hour. All are invited!


Bishop Jung currently serves as the resident bishop of The Ohio Episcopal Area, encompassing both the East and West Ohio Conferences. He began his assignment in September 2024.

Bishop Jung holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MA from the Institute of Buddhist Studies (affiliated with the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA), an MA from Dongguk University Graduate School in Seoul, South Korea, and a BTh from Methodist Theological Seminary in Seoul, South Korea.

Bishop Jung’s spouse, Im-Hyon, is an Elder in the Wisconsin Conference and recently retired as director of International Relations, Asia & Global Programs, for the Upper Room/Discipleship Ministries. Together, they are the parents of two adult sons and proud grandparents of two.
