Youth Director

Looking for a unique opportunity to shape the future of the church? Mentor United Methodist Church is seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Youth Ministry to lead and develop comprehensive youth programs that foster growth, wisdom, and discipleship for youth in grades 7-12. You will play a crucial role in nurturing the faith journey of our teens and advocating for their well-being to help them integrate with the broader church community. Pastor of Visitation

Mentor United Methodist Church is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastor of Visitation to join our ministry team. This individual will be a committed disciple of Jesus Christ, embodying His love and extending pastoral care to our members and friends, with a particular focus on the homebound, those in nursing care facilities, and individuals facing transitional life issues. This role involves collaboration with our pastoral staff and the nurturing of our Caring Servant ministry, empowering laity for effective ministry.

Hannah’s Home Baby Bottles

Beginning on Mother’s day, baby bottles will be available to pick up to fill with a donation (cash or check) for Hannah’s Home. You can drop your bottle off to the office once filled.

Bread, Broth, Brownies, and Bingo

Bread, Broth, Brownies, & Bingo

Join Mentor United Women in Faith for another bread, broth, and brownies luncheon! June’s menu includes dinner roll mini sandwiches, cold strawberry soup, pasta salad, and peanut butter s’mores no bake brownies. After lunch we will assemble “mission encouragement” treats for our youth summer mission teams, Youth Service Project (YSP) and Middle School Mission Week (MSMW).     MUMC Softball

    Softball season begins soon! The regular season is May, June, and July with playoffs in early August. We are always looking to add players. No rules on gender or church membership (friends are welcome). Players must be 18+, but 16 & 17-year-olds are eligible if with a parent or guardian.     Royal Family Kids Camp

    Royal Family Kids

    Looking for volunteers aged 16 or older who want to experience a little of Royal Family Kids this year without training.  Volunteers are needed to play board games and help with registration on Sat morning June 8 from 8:15 until about 11:30. Families arrive dropping off the children ages 6-11y.o. at staggered times as we do a luggage check, lice check, guardians give medications to the nurses, etc. We load buses to head to camp, hopefully close to 11 AM.  All of this happens at the Willoughby Hills UMC church, 34201 Eddy Rd, Willoughby Hills. If interested, please contact Johanna Martin at   Service hours are available for youth!
