    Christmas Play: The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!
    Join us at Mentor UMC Friday, December 5th at 7:00 PM in Fellowship Hall for this year’s play, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!” Buy tickets online here.



    Christmas Cantata: Sing We Noel
    Join us on Sunday, December 7th during the 11 AM Traditional Worship service for the annual Christmas Cantata. This is a free choral and orchestra performance celebrating the season.



    Prelude to Christmas
    Join us at Mentor UMC on Friday, December 12th in the Sanctuary at 7:30 PM for the Charter Member’s Mens Choir’s “Prelude to Christmas.” Each year, this performance readies us for the coming of Christ and the Christmas season. This is free and open to all.



    Blue Christmas
    Join us at Mentor UMC for a special Christmas service at 5 PM on December 17th. This is a service for those experiencing grief, loss, and hardship this holiday season. All welcome.


    Events & Groups

    Names for the Messiah Groups

  • GROUP 1: All are invited to join Pastor Tammy on Mondays, November 24, December 1, 8, and 15 from 6:00-7:30 PM. We will be reading and discussing Walter Brueggemann’s book, Names for the Messiah: An Advent Study. Books can be purchased on your own or through the church.

  • GROUP 2: Join an intergenerational group for “Brews & Bibles” on Tuesday evenings in Advent. We’ll meet at 6 PM at a different local holiday bar each week to discuss Brueggemann’s book. Bar schedule coming soon. Reach out to Mackalyn for questions.

  • Young Adult Jazz Outing
    Young Adults are invited to Brother’s Lounge (Cleveland) on Saturday, December 20th for Relic’s performance featuring Evan Palermo on drums. There will be a $10-20 cover.



    Gift of Time
    Enjoy a day off on Saturday, December 6th from 1-4 PM! MUMC is offering FREE childcare for the afternoon so parents & guardians can nap, Christmas shop, or enjoy a few hours of uninterrupted peace. SIGN UP ONLINE HERE and please let us know your child’s name and age in the comment section. Signup online to volunteer or get in touch with Pastor Tammy. This is also a great opportunity for Youth to get service hours if they choose to volunteer to help.



    Bread, Broth, Brownies, and Bingo Luncheon
    The December 4B luncheon will be on Wednesday, December 10th at noon in the Gallery. This is a free UWF event that features soup, brownies, bingo, and a speaker and/or activity. They meet every month in the Gallery. RSVP online or find the sheet in the Info Hub.



    Open Table
    Join us on Thursday, December 11th for food, fellowship, and fun from 5:30 to 7 PM every second Thursday of the month. We’ll eat from 5:30 PM to 6 PM then enjoy different programming (fun) each month. If you are in choir or a committee, feel free to have dinner with us then meet with your group! RSVP online here.
