RSVP online here for any of the classes above. You only need to attend ONE class.

This class is designed for those who want clarity without pressure. It’s about starting fresh, finding your place, and experiencing the joy of community.

Together, we’ll explore:
What is Methodism? Learn about the history, beliefs, and practices that shape our faith.
What is membership? Understand the meaning of belonging, commitment, and shared discipleship.
Why be a member? Discover how membership connects you to a community that supports,
encourages, and grows together in Christ.

At Mentor UMC, we believe New Beginnings are rooted in a life together where we:
• Love boldly by welcoming all people with grace and compassion
• Serve joyfully by sharing our gifts in ways that uplift and transform lives
• Lead courageously by living out our faith with hope and conviction

Whether you’re seeking connection, exploring your next step, or simply wondering what it means to belong, New Beginnings is your opportunity to grow deeper in faith and closer to God—while discovering a spiritual home that celebrates you as part of the family.

Disclaimer from Margaret Feinberg: “I know that food is a source of pain for many of us. I’ve struggled with eating disorders and disordered eating throughout my life, and I hope you will be sensitive to those who wrestle with these and other food-related issues as well. Some days I think I am the last person who should be exploring food and the Bible. Yet the more I study, the more I am convinced that God wants to redeem food just as he is redeeming us.”
